Anil and Tina Ambani held a celebration on Sunday night, 28th February, 2010 to celebrate some of Reliance BIG Pictures’ recent releases including Paa and 3 Idiots success at the box office and film award functions as well as Rock On and Shob Charitro Kalponik’s victory at the recently concluded National Film Awards.
It was also an occasion to welcome the artists and filmmakers, writers and composers from Bollywood including those from Reliance BIG Pictures’ highly anticipated forthcoming films Kites, Raavan, Don 2, Well Done Abba, Mirch and many more.
Addressing the guests at the party Mr Anil Ambani said, “As a company Reliance always looks for new frontiers for doing the unthinkable and as I look around this room I see every reason for this conviction to be fulfilled. I want to personally thank each one of you that you are here this evening. There are amongst us great actors, wonderful directors and even more amazing story tellers which is why tonight we are here to celebrate each and every one of you, your talent and your creativity, your courage and your pride.”
He further said, “Movies speak a language that transcends borders and boundaries. At Reliance Entertainment we are here to act hopefully as a game changer, as we are helping the best in the business to realize their hopes. We want to do movies that entertain, enlighten and elevate you. We want all of you to be in them, to direct them and write them. We want to be with you on this very exciting journey of cinema where technological wizardry meets the craft and is able to touch our lives. We hope that people have an unlimited appetite for anything with imagination and hopefully we will satisfy it. I believe a new world beckons, a Pandora, not of Greek mythology but the one that ushers in a big and wonderful universe that dazzles across all so let us fly into this exciting journey of future together.”
Tina Ambani said she was happy that her family was celebrating with her other family from the film industry.
